The Planting Process

I pray that during the planting process, God enables us to see the strategic layout that He has planned for our lives in 2016.  As we see the layout our prayers will become more intense and as we stand in the gap for our families we will destroy the satantic attacks before they manifest.

God consciousness and spiritual sight are required to pray from God's perspective. I have found that the best way to achieve God consciousness is through fasting and prayer.

God give us spiritual sight to see situations and people as you see them. We never want our prayers to work against your design for our life.

• As we plant this month we want to ensure that the ground is fertile, aerated and in an area where water never accumulates.
• We want to  ensure proper drainage exists where we plan to grow. We never want to succumb to root rot or unfavorable environments in our life like fear, unbelief, doubt, deception, arrogance and pride to name a few that start to cause us to be dull in the spirit.

Spiritually we must be sure that we don’t allow root rot in our lives because as the roots die what fruit are you bearing?

Please follow all month because the process builds each day.

In 2016 I will be fruitful and operate at the spiritual level that God has planned for me.  Favor follows me wherever I go and I will be intentional about being fruitful.

How will I do this:

• Spiritually I will not allow the root of bitterness, which will take hold of my life to enter in.
• When I feel as though I have been overlooked, I will not allow offense or bondage because this will lead to depression.
• Fear, which is a lack of faith will not be allowed to gain influence in my life during weak moments this year. 
• Mental strongholds which took root during my childhood years, are lies from the pit of hell I will not allow them to cause me to feel insignificant and insecure. 
• I will not make empty resolutions that I cannot keep, my mind is sound and resolute and I have an expectancy and will be motivated because what I do for Christ will last and everything else is irrelevant.

The True Vine

The scripture that our study will be based on this month is :

John 15:1-2 (NKJV)

The True Vine

15 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine-dresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;[a] and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

So what does this really mean to you?  

1. We are the grapes that grow in the vineyard and our purpose is to be fruitful and draw people to Christ. 
2. The branches are those who claim to be followers of Christ.  
3. The fruitful branches are true believers who produce much fruit. 
4. But those who follow Christ for a while and then decide that it's not working for them will be separated from the vine.  Why, because God will prune us two ways, by separating us or cutting us back like branches.  
5. We are cut back to promote growth, discipline and strengthen our character.

In 2016 I will be fruitful and operate at the spiritual level that God has planned for me.  Favor follows me wherever I go and I will be intentional about being fruitful.

It is so important that as we begin this year, we understand our God given right to walk in our purpose and destiny. Why do I say this, because I used to pray amiss meaning I wouldn't put an actual time-frame on my prayer request. I was afraid that if my prayers weren't answered, my faith would be challenged. 

Was God not listening, or was I not praying the right way?  Our God is so much bigger than that. I believe that fear enters in when our prayers aren't answered in our time-frame, so this month we will look at how we should be growing spiritually and what it means to be connected to the True Vine.

How Are You Growing in 2016

Let's take a look at how we will grow in 2016 so that every area of our life will be surrendered to God. 

There is so much going on already that fear is gripping the people of God.  We decree and declare in the name of Jesus that we refuse to fear. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind "2 Timothy 1:7". We bind the spirit of fear in our lives in the name of Jesus and break every evil covenant.

I pray that your spirit is recreated now, or (the part of you that has been born again) and that you are growing in Christ and everything that He has done for you on the cross.  Know that the soul's natural vocabulary is "I can't".Today, your spirit will tell you I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Don't let your flesh (soul and body) block what Christ died for.  You will receive everything that God has for you, anointing, health, prosperity, relationships, creative ideas and inventions to name a few. Remember that Jesus Christ is our advocate when we sin (1 John 2:1) and a sinful lifestyle has severe consequences.

So this year we will not be unproductive followers of Christ. Let's ask God to prune us by cutting us back like branches.  We are cut back to promote growth, discipline and to strengthen our character.  

God Will Do It In 2016

More tomorrow on the "true vine" John 15:1, so we can begin to see God's strategic layout for our life.

Prayer of Agreement

Prayer - Father your word says in Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

That means that I will submit myself to you and make a conscience effort to follow your word.

I will repel and reject sin in my life by resisting the adversary and all of his attacks, pressure and deceptions.

I will make it a priority in my life to receive your knowledge and power and to know you intimately.

Even if I have no knowledge of you now, please become Emmanuel (God with us) and my refiner and purifier.

In 2016 let my will be lost in your will and let me confess your name with boldness and confidence.

Teach me to let go of control and trust you oh God. The very fact that I hesitate causes indecisiveness, delay and double mindedness.

It's my desire to abandon self focused priorities in order to obtain God focused priorities.

Father through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ I have the blessings of Abraham whom you blessed in all things. Therefore in 2016 I decree and declare that the will of God will prevail over every area of my life (spiritually, financially, relational, physically, mentally, intellectually and emotionally).

God please don't let a past-tense problem become a present-tense issue in 2016.

Now go in your God given power and authority. Great grace and peace to you in 2016. Love you with the Love of God
